At last a complete original song in my voice……!!!!!

This song marks the first of many aspects of music production in my case…

This is my first(complete) original song
This is my first song composed by me…
This is the first song for which I have single handedly done the music arrangement and orchestration

As it is normally said, necessity is the mother of invention… here in my case I too was forced to do the orchestration and arrangement my self after my umpteen attempts to get it done through my friends…All were busy with their own projects with no time to spare….I wont blame any of them… Probably I too may not be able to help others in similar situations…In fact some of my composer friends did try their best but could not succeed due their other commitments….At last I took up the project my self and started to do the arrangements in an entirely different ambience…Hope you all like it…It might sound a bit amateurish (rightly so)…. Mixing as well as the singing could be much better…but I am quite eager to share this with you all and get your feedback…

I should thank Nisikanth who has written such wonderful lines and gave it to me for composing with absolute confidence… It indeed made me feel great…Thank you NISI for those brilliant lyrics and the sincere help you had extended to me…Your preview of the recordings was very helpful…

This is a song belonging an entirely different genre than those I normally sing. I could not resist the temptation to try this beautiful song the momment I heard it first… Was trying to get hold of a good track…All I got were only the voice cut ones, on which it was very difficult to sing such a song… Yesterday I got a very nice Karaoke track from the You tube …This only solved the first part of the problem…now the next issue was the english portion in the song… As you all know I cant even dream of attempting those portions… Then I decided to cut short the song and end it with the rendition of the words “Sau gram zindagi” in the higher octave as in the original at the end…
At last here it is …the final version… Please listen and give your feedback…

Amazing rendition by the Great Mohammed Rafi Saheb in his velvetty voice, beautiful lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi and wonderful composition by Jaidev….What else you need to enjoy a song…

This song from the film ‘Life in a Metro’ has been very special for my daughter Priyanka Krishnan, as she used to sing this one at every place whereever she was asked to sing…:)

Here she has sung this in her own style… Since there is no female version originally she took the liberty to make it her own, by singing the way she wanted to….hope you will like it…We are extremely sorry about the poor quality of the karaoke track….Could not find a better one….:(

Another cover of a Jagjit Ji's Ghazal ... This one is from the Album "Saher". Yesterday I was in a mood to sing a ghazal and saw the karaoke track of this number.. Though I was not too familiar with this ghazal, decided to learn and sing.. Started yesterday after noon and completed the recording in an hour or so... After a few of corrections here and there I completed the mixing today morning..In short it is a cover done in a few hours time..Please listen and give your views...

Here is another duet with Rashmi Nair – one of the most talented singers in the blogging space.. . A very brilliant song from the movie “Mudalvan”. Though I had proposed to cover its Hindi version, it was Rashmi who suggested to go for the Tamil. Glad that we ultimately covered the Tamil version which is indeed a much impressive and better one…

Tamil lyrics was quite tough for me… I hope my diction is not too bad….

Singing a Punjabi song for the first time…An Awesome song of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan… Probably this is one the toughest songs I have ever sung… Mainly due to the breath control required to sing this song… It seems to be quite a simple one…but when you really start singing ….there is very little time to take breath in between the lines….I think I did manage to a reasonable extent…Do listen and give your feedback…

This song of Rafi Saheb, from the movie Beti Bete(1964)is my all time favorite…In addition to the musical aspects, lots of nostalgic memories are attached to this song… Beti Bete is the one and only movie to which we all four brothers have gone together – never before or never after….!!! I remember those days when we were living at a small town called Feroke, near Calicut, Kerala…. We had to travel to the city(Calicut) which is around 10 Kms from Feroke, to see a Hindi movie…
