This song of Rafi Saheb, from the movie Beti Bete(1964)is my all time favorite…In addition to the musical aspects, lots of nostalgic memories are attached to this song… Beti Bete is the one and only movie to which we all four brothers have gone together – never before or never after….!!! I remember those days when we were living at a small town called Feroke, near Calicut, Kerala…. We had to travel to the city(Calicut) which is around 10 Kms from Feroke, to see a Hindi movie…

A song written by the Late Girish Puthencherry. In fact I had only heard the mukhda (pallavi) till a few days ago. Last month in one of the reality shows on the TV, I happened to listen to a contestant singing this song so nicely that I fell in love with the song… What a composition …!!! I decided to learn and record the song a.s.a.p. And here it is….
