I want to share something special with you: One of my songs recorded sometime ago was aired on KLOK radio on the 29th April 2011, on the show ‘Golden Voice with Siva’ (9.30 AM to 10.30Am). KLOK 1170 AM is San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland's New 50,000 Watt South Asian Radio Station, playing 24/7 South Asian music with a fusion of Bollywood and World hits as well as a variety of music, news and talk programs. !!! This song "Kannukku Mai Azhagu" is from the movie “Puthiya Mugam” composed by A R Rahman and originally sung by unni Menon. I am posting here the recording of the Radio program for those who missed to listen to this live.... A song which is very very close to my heart… I would not have listened to any other song as much as I have heard this song……. Amazing rendition by the Great Mohammed Rafi Saheb in his velvetty voice, beautiful lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi and wonderful composition by Jaidev….What else you need to enjoy a song…

Singing a song of this type is not really my cup of tea… Still I have tried to sing it in my own style…Please listen and give your feedback…

This song from the film ‘Life in a Metro’ has been very special for my daughter Priyanka Krishnan, as she used to sing this one at every place whereever she was asked to sing…:)

Here she has sung this in her own style… Since there is no female version originally she took the liberty to make it her own, by singing the way she wanted to….hope you will like it…We are extremely sorry about the poor quality of the karaoke track….Could not find a better one….:(
