For this year's ONAM I wanted to sing and upload a Malayalam song. This is a sopng that has moved me a lot. Very nice melodious song from the movie "Devasuram" so nicely sung M G Sreekumar. I would rate this one as one of his best. This song was composed by M G Radhakrishnan, a noted musician, composer and also the elder brother of the singer M G Sreekumar. Song was written by the most popular and successful lyricist in Malayalam now - Girish Puthencherry.
Hope I have done reasonable justice to the song. I am extremely thankful to Mr. Sreeharshan Nambiar, a wonderful singer himself and an fellow blogger for all the help and assistance extended to me in getting the mixing right.. ..Thanks a lot Harshan.

I have always admired the music in the Thampuran movies. Now, this was a pleasant surprise to learn that this song was sung by M.G. Sreekumar. I was always under this impression that this was sung by Dasettan.
The mixing by Mr. Nambiar was excellent. Your voice reminded me of Dasettan and your voice really depicted the tragedy of Mohanlal's character.
Undoubtedly, this is one of your best performances. Congratulations!!
Honestly I always have thought that your voice was perfect for Mallu Numbers.It was impressed upon me all the more with the perfect modulations in this number I had heard the original score long back and really felt you have rendered it far far better than that Sreekumar's Ara-kattai voice..this is superb really superb..I think you far covered more milestones in short span of time...Congrats and song sung splendidly

NVK, thanks for this melodious greeting. Unfamiliar song. Familiar tune - perhaps it's a popular raaga. This sounds like a real playback number, NVK!Loved the emotional feel of this song that you brought out so well and reading from Akshay's comment it appears to be apt for the situation.
