Mujhe Tum Nazar Se (Mehdi Hassan) - Cover by N V Krishnan

Singing a cover of Khan Saheb (Mehdi Hassan Saheb) for the first time… I am really grateful to Javed bhai (D J Wazif) for making it possible by sharing the karaoke track of this song with me… I have sung the famous ghazal in my own style without imitating the inimitable Khan saheb. Hope you all like it…Feedback would be highly appreciated…

Mujh Se Bichad Ke Khush Rehate Ho - Ghazal - Cover by N V Krishnan

Another cover of a Jagjit Ji's Ghazal ... This one is from the Album "Saher". Yesterday I was in a mood to sing a ghazal and saw the karaoke track of this number.. Though I was not too familiar with this ghazal, decided to learn and sing.. Started yesterday after noon and completed the recording in an hour or so... After a few of corrections here and there I completed the mixing today morning..In short it is a cover done in a few hours time..Please listen and give your views...

Hope you will like my attempt...

Chandi Jaisa Rang Hai Tera - Cover By N V Krishnan

My first attempt to sing a Ghazal of another great Singer – Pankaj Udhas. I have always been a great admirer of Pankaj Udhas’s Ghazals. After singing so many of Jagjit ji’s I thought it high time for me to venture in to others’ Ghazals too..

Here I am with a very popular number of Pankaj Udhas. This was probably first sung by him live at ROYAL ALBERT HALL , London.

Please do listen and give your feedback..

Badi Haseen Raat Thi - Cover by N V krishnan

A very famous ghazal of Jagjit Singhji.. Though I have not heard this so much as his other numbers, used to like this very much. It is very soothing…

I have sung it in my own style without really copying Jagjitji’s version. I have also added certain harquats which are not there in the original..

Please listen and give your feedback..
