Another duet with my daughter Priyanka.

One of the finest melodies composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy team for the film ‘Lakshya’. The song was originally sung by Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam..

The track which unfortunately was only there for one antara…I copied it again for the second antara. As a result the interlude music is same before both the antaras…

This song was proposed to be sung with another female singer.Due to her throat infection, we had to keep postponing this project. At last she told me to go ahead and sing with someone else as there were no signs of improvement in the condition of her throat ....I would have normally waited for her to get well and then record.. But here Priyanka was very keen on singing this , though did not tell me about that..I sensed it and let her sing this... I think she did a good job anyway..

Tu Jo Mere Sur Mein - Cover By N V Krishnan and Rashmi Nair

After singing the very popular song from 'Chitchor', "Jab Deep Jale Aana", I wanted to sing this other beautiful song in the same film, composed by Ravindra Jain and needless to say, converted it to a gem by K J Yesudas, with the commendable support of Hemlata....and here it is.

I have sung this with my good friend and an excellent singer Rashmi Nair. I personally felt that Rashmi was at her best in this.
